Day Three was just a drive to Hana, it took 11 hours of our day! We left at about 7 am and drove all the way to Hana, bypassing all the tourist stops where there were about a dozen cars parked every time. We did all the stops on the drive back while everyone was gone driving back to Lahaina! Perfect plan so there were barely any people at each stop! Pictures are from both my camera and dads! Enjoy!!
We stopped for gas on the way out and I saw a yoohoo in the fridge in the gas station… I absolutely HAD to try it after hearing it mentioned in TV and movies haha… nothing special, just chocolate milk lol
There were also bugels, hellz yeah. They used to fit on my finger tips better when I was little!
you can see the turn of the wheel, the road to hana is VERY curvy!
yeah that’s a car down there… taken over by nature
waterfalls in the distance wild chickens… they were EVERYWHERE
cool pattern in the rocks.. clearly that used to be liquid
yet again, standing on the edge! there was a stranger up on the bridge above us yelling at us to be careful haha we had random bystanders concerned
clearest water I’ve ever seen in my life!! also.. VERY cold because it NEVER sees the sun ! In a cave about 30 feet underground
so we jumped in.. and then another 5 people jumped in too!
took my camera deeper into the cave
really awesome multicoloured rocks inside the save
Black sand beach!! as black as my sandals Markie near a blowhole! The only store in the little town of Hana it has everything you’d need!
check off the bucket list… swim under a waterfall in paradise!!
gives a bit of an idea of how HUGE the waterfall was
The GIGANTIC avocado we bought in Hana, grown in Hana! and it only cost $2.22… doesn’t that make your wallet hurt, Inuvik friends?
found another waterfall to swim under!! Bucket list check, check!!
climbed up to another waterfall but didn’t swim under it, it had a flash flood warning
One of the things I had my eyes on for months before hawaii were the rainbow eucalyptus trees! The bark peels off in stages and the tree underneath changes colour with time, the bright green stuff just peeled and the red patches are much older! so pretty!! Pictures from dad’s camera about a 40 foot drop from there water was about 4 feet deep Daddy, Markie & I climbed up through that hole in the ceiling there
the view was awesome!! waterfall #1 we look like syncronize swimmers! We didn’t plan it we just moved our arms the exact same way at the exact same time!
Mom & Dad! swimming under waterfall #2, hurt like hell the water was actually so powerful it would push us right under water!
in the bamboo forest … I’m a panda!! coolest trees ever!!
